Insurance Claims

 

We work with most auto insurance companies and will help you submit an auto glass claim.  You are only responsible for your deductible the rest will be billed to your insurance.  Any portion of work not covered by your insurance must be paid by the customer on or before completion of work.

Limited Warranty

 

Our limited warranty covers defects in material or workmanship; for as long as you own the vehicle in which the glass was installed, and is not transferable.  We will replace or repair product as long as such defects are brought to the attention of Duarte’s Auto Glass within 30 days from initial service date.  If we are unable to repair or replace your warranted product, we will issue a full refund as long as a copy of the invoice is provided.

Windshield Repair Warranty

For best results, we recommend that repairs be made when the damage is recent and where the point of impact and cracks are small, and there is no moisture or contaminants in the damaged area.

 

Please note:  The attempt to repair a windshield can sometimes result in the chip or crack becoming larger and we are not responsible for damage.

 

If dissatisfied with the windshield chip repair, we will credit the cost of repair towards a replacement.  If your insurance paid for the repair, they will receive the credit.

Duarte’s Auto Glass Warranty Exclusions

​

Prior to the removal of the window, we will assess the situation and advise customer of any issues or concerns of previous or existing damage such as rust on the pinch weld.  Warranty does not cover leaks, stress cracks, or related damage in connection with installations to prior or existing issues.  

 

Please note:  Our warranty will be voided if window is damaged by road debris, rocks, vandalism, etc. after initial installation or repair.  Damage not involving defective workmanship or materials from Duarte’s Auto Glass is excluded from coverage under this warranty.
